Baptism — Welcome into the Christian Community
The first sacrament for infants, children and adults across our three valley parishes.
Through Baptism a child or adult is welcomed into the Christian community. Baptisms can be celebrated in any of our parishes (Andermatt, Hospental, or Realp). External families are also warmly welcome with the consent of their home parish.
How to Proceed — Step by Step

Contact the Parish Secretariat early (+41 41 887 11 81 or sekretariat@seelsorgeursern.ch) to coordinate the date and church.

Download and complete the appropriate Baptism Registration Form (for local parishioners or external families) and return it by email or post.

Schedule a personal baptismal preparation conversation with our parish priest.

Godparents requirement: At least one godparent must be a baptized and confirmed Roman Catholic.
