How to Proceed — Step by Step

1. Call the Parish Office First: Andermatt & Hospental: +41 41 887 11 81 · Realp: +41 79 224 81 37 (Sacristan Fritz Simmen) or +41 41 887 11 81.

2. Notify the Civil Registry Office (Zivilstandsamt), Funeral Director, and Cemetery Administrator (Andermatt: Karl Arnold, +41 41 887 01 28).

3. Personal Bereavement Conversation: Our priest meets with the family in person to prepare a dignified funeral Mass and burial.

4. Ecumenical Respect: The cemetery in Andermatt welcomes deceased residents of all denominations. For Protestant funerals, please contact the Reformed Parish Office first.
