First Holy Communion is a joyful celebration for third-grade children and their families across Andermatt, Hospental and Realp, traditionally celebrated on Low Sunday (the first Sunday after Easter).
How to Proceed — Step by Step

Preparation takes place within the 3rd-grade religious education classes led by Catechist Karin Christen-Bissig.

Includes a creative parent-child workshop (decorating communion candles and pottery bowls).

Celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter followed by a valley-wide parish Apéro.
Important Note: Parents of 3rd-grade children receive all dates and parent-evening invitations directly through religious instruction.
